About The Sensory Coach

Sarah Norris is The Sensory Coach. She is a licensed and registered occupational therapist. Sarah is a sensory processing and integration specialist who has received extensive training and experience while working at the STAR Institute in Denver, Colorado. Sarah and her colleague, Carrie Einck, developed the renowned adult and adolescent treatment programs at the STAR Institute. They have done several Facebook Live videos for STAR. Sarah and Carrie also created an introductory webinar for STAR that covers five crucial topics for understanding and managing sensory processing and integration challenges in adulthood.

Sarah is passionate about addressing sensory issues across the lifespan. She speaks, writes, teaches, and provides consultation, coaching, and mentoring services for clients, families, therapists, educators, employers, and medical professionals. She helps with program development, designs sensory friendly environments and events, and supports individuals, families, and groups.

Sarah truly understands what it is like to live with sensory processing challenges because she lives with them herself. She also knows what it is like to raise children with sensory issues because she has two of her own. She has worked with individuals with sensory processing and integration challenges her entire career of over ten years. Her insight and empathy are the perfect combination to coach and support those on a journey to understand and manage sensory issues in a deeply meaningful way.
